Getting Started – Our Process
Franchise Application
Fill out and submit our Afficient Academy franchise application. Our Franchise department reviews your completed application and contacts you for an interview.
Pre-Qualification Interview
You will speak to one of our franchise executives to make sure you can meet the required financial and business obligations.
Franchise Meeting
You are invited to meet with our key executives and get an inside glimpse of our education program, marketing and business systems. We cover the basics of our franchise in greater detail and answer any questions you may have.
Subject Qualification Test
You will be given a short Afficient Math test that covers 5th – 8th grade level materials of the corresponding subjects. Currently, it’s a math test based on US standards.
Submit Business Plan
Once you’ve completed the pre-qualification and are approved, next step will be to submit a business plan. It should include a description of the target market, the competitive advantage of the product/service, marketing initiatives, plus the start-up and ongoing costs.
Training Agreement
Training is mandatory for all owners and managers, and you must satisfactorily complete all segments of training before starting business operations. Our current training program will take approximately two weeks to complete. These estimated hours cover the dynamics of operating an Afficient Academy Learning Center and includes the subjects described. Successful completion of the training is an important eligibility criterion to become a franchise of Afficient Academy.
Site Selection
Begin exploring possible retail locations in your chosen area. Before you finalize the site, it has to be approved by Afficient Academy.
Lease Agreement
Before you sign the lease for your approved retail location, Afficient Academy reviews and approves the lease and also confirms its intention to offer you the franchise.
Franchise Agreement Signing
Once all the aforementioned processes are completed successfully, you will be offered the franchise agreement. You pay the franchise fee, accept and sign the Franchise Agreement.
Grand Opening
Congratulations! You are now a franchisee of Afficient Academy, a valued business partner and are on your way to operating your own Afficient Academy Learning Center.
